Susan likes to create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable to experiment with new language and make mistakes. She believes it is important for students to have positive experiences while learning and she tries to do circular teaching, where the class revisits class content, grammar and skills a few times, so students can deepen their understanding each time. This also helps with the aha! moments, when something clicks and students ‘get it’. Susan loves seeing this moment and she loves seeing each student make their own progress.
