Classrooms
NMIT has a large number of different teaching spaces available. Classroom capacities range from 14-40 people.
All rooms have:

- Wireless projection from Windows devices
Lecture Theatre
NMIT has two purpose-built lecture theatres that seat either 82 or 96 people with tiered seating on our Nelson campus.
Lecture theatres have:

- TV, webcam, internet, and Wi-Fi access
Sensory Room
NMIT has a sensory room suitable for tastings with a maximum capacity of 28 people.

Laboratory
NMIT has a teaching laboratory suitable for wine blending with a maximum capacity of 40 people.
