The Cawthron Institute(external link) is a key partner with NMIT in the delivery of our aquaculture programmes and you'll spend time studying at our Nelson campus as well as at The Cawthron Institute's Aquaculture Park at The Glen, Nelson.
The facilities at the park include:
- a marine hatchery for fish and shellfish
- a set of marine on-growing tank systems
- a teaching laboratory
