NMIT's new micro-credential will empower you to play your part in creating a Predator Free New Zealand. Delivered in partnership with the Department of Conservation (DOC), the Predator Trapping Methods micro-credential provides you with the knowledge and skills to manage an effective pest control programme in your area.
NMIT is the only tertiary institution in New Zealand that partners with DOC to deliver education programmes, including 10 short courses and the Trainee Ranger programme.
The Predator Trapping Methods micro-credential will help support the government’s Predator Free 2050 goal to rid New Zealand of the most damaging introduced predators that threaten our native wildlife, economy, and primary industries.
The next intake for this micro-credential is 28 October. Apply online now.
