Students studying Te Hāpara Diploma of Māori Studies put on a performance in the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) library for NMIT whānau/family.
Every year since 1975, New Zealand/Aotearoa has celebrated Māori Language Week. It's a time for everyone to learn Te Reo Māori and to use more Māori phrases in everyday life.
Māori arts students also chose a Māori word that they liked, related to, or were inspired by and used it to decorate the windows of the NMIT Nelson Library to celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori/Māori Language Week 2015.
