Andy Fullerton
Andy is a skiing, rock climbing and bush tutor on the Certificate of Adventure Tourism and Guiding programme.
Andy was brought up from a very young age on a healthy diet of skiing, tramping, mountaineering and windsurfing. He brings over 23 years of professional experience to the Adventure Tourism and Guiding course, having worked in the industry as a professional mountain guide, contract outdoor instructor and polytechnic tutor.
He is also an assessor for NZ Mountain Guides Association, NZ Outdoor Instructors Association and Skills Active, as well as contracting as a technical expert for outdoor auditors.
“I am passionate about inspiring students to develop a love for outdoor adventure activities and passing on my knowledge, skills and experiences to our future adventure guides and instructors.”
When not working he will usually be found skiing in the Craigieburn Range or Japan, windsurfing or surfing around the coast of NZ somewhere, rock climbing at Paynes Ford or tramping/mountaineering in the hills.
