Mark Baskett
Mark Baskett holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the former Quay School of Arts in Whanganui, New Zealand and a Master of Fine Arts from the Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar, Germany. His work has been exhibited in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the United States and New Zealand. He has also completed a variety of artist residencies in Switzerland, Germany, and New Zealand.
Currently focused on 'art in the public space,' Mark's work combines printed images, objects and typography to investigate questions around the visual presentation of social histories.
Mark currently teaches Level 6, Critical Studies and Object Design in addition to Level 7, Studio and Critical Studies in the Bachelor of Arts and Media Programme.
