After completing a Degree in Oenology from Adelaide University she headed off as a flying winemaker completing vintages in Australia, USA and Italy. But that all ended when she did a vintage in New Zealand - she was so impressed with the amazing climate and lifestyle of Marlborough that she decided to stay. Nadine was winemaker at Mud House wines for the next ten years, making wines from throughout New Zealand especially Marlborough, Waipara Valley and Central Otago. Nadine has completed the AWRI advanced sensory program and WSET certificate level 3.
Nadine really enjoys sharing her practical winery experience and love of wine sensory assessment when teaching at NMIT. She feels the greatest strength of the Bachelor Viticulture and winemaking is the strong links between theory and practice and the many opportunities within the wider New Zealand industry, especially here in Marlborough.
