BCD606 Te Tiriti o Waitangi: Application and Practice

In this course, learners will develop knowledge and awareness of the history of Aotearoa / New Zealand^ and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, as a foundation for career development practice within Aotearoa. Students will explore early relationships between Māori and non-Māori, including an awareness of the cultural setting within which Māori and settlers historically lived in Aotearoa. Students will gain an expanded introduction to Māori language and cultural practices.
