This screen printing course is for absolute beginners. A great place to start!
If you have some experience screen printing, check out our Advanced Screen Printing short course.
To teach basic screen printing skills, with the opportunity to advance onto more challenging techniques during the course. To encourage students to continue their education in the arts through further study in Arts and Media at NMIT. Works from the course could be used as part of an application folio for such further study.
You will have access to the screen printing workshop, dye room and darkroom, photocopying facilities, black and white only, silk screens, inks and photographic emulsion, A3 sheets of mylar.
You will be given a full materials list to bring to the workshops prior to starting, plus an update is made each week if further materials are required.
