Prove to yourself that you can make things. Casting for jewellery-making course, perfect for beginners.

Join like-minded creatives at our on-campus jewellery workshop in the heart of the Creative Industries building.

Tutor, Maike Barteldres, will guide you through a variety of casting techniques for use in jewellery making. She will encourage you to experiment and teach you how to use the tools and equipment available. By the end of the class you will have made a selection of small objects from silver or other metals.

Should you have your own tools and equipment, you are encouraged to bring them to class.

Trained in the UK, Maike has 25 years of jewellery making experience and has her own studio in Motueka.

This course is popular, and with only 13 places available for each class, register or apply now if you don't want to miss out.
