If you have completed the Intermediate 2 course, and you and your tutor think you're ready - get more serious with this first Advanced course.

This course is for those who have finished Intermediate 2(external link) or have learnt Chinese for some time.

The main focus of this course is on learning Chinese characters, which are an essential component of the language. By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of the most commonly used Chinese characters, including their meanings and how to write them.

Completion of this course gets you ready to take the HSK 2 exams.

If you are a full-time secondary school student, NMIT is able to enrol you if you meet all of the following:

are 16 years of age and over, and
attend this course outside of normal school hours, and
have obtained approval from your school principal (or approval from your home school supervisor if you are homeschooled).
