Discover essential pattern-cutting and fashion design skills. Ideal for both self-designers and aspiring industry professionals.
You can start at any time throughout the year and learn in a unique and fun environment with similarly passionate designers who range from beginners to more advanced students learning the art of slow fashion pattern drafting.
Using professional trade knowledge, beginners will learn to draft and fit basic block patterns for themselves with simplified sewing and fashion applications. This will include creating a skirt or a t-shirt block pattern to build pattern knowledge.
Clothes are fitted to the individual, allowing students to create and design their desired style with individually designed block patterns and learn easy-fit sewing and design techniques to apply for themselves or others.
Students progress to create the trouser block and then the bodice and sleeve blocks over 20-hour sessions as needed. Depending on an individual's progress, for example, a student may finish the skirt and half a trouser block in one 20-hour session.

"I have sewn for over 40 years, using store-bought patterns, often disappointed with the end result. These classes, which one can join, when requiring help on any project, have opened the doors for me to express myself my way while giving me loads of confidence and new skills. I would recommend to anyone, whether you have never sewn or always sewn."
"The pattern-making course is well-designed. It uses the close-knit class and Larissa's vast knowledge to create an inspiring and supportive learning environment. I only wish I could attend a class every week!"
"I'm amazed that I've actually learned to design my own clothes, and I wasn't even a sewer when I signed up!"
